It is the reason the shape exists and the reason people who own one never describe it casually.

What actually makes it a gravity bong?
Pressure, not percolation. Water moving through the chamber creates the suction that fills it, and reversing that movement delivers everything at once. It is a different mechanism from a beaker, not a fancier version of one.
Why does it cost $349.99 when a tall beaker is $129.99?
Because it is a different kind of object: a large multi-part piece with a moving chamber rather than a static tube, and the most expensive single item we stock. At that price it is worth calling ahead and seeing it on the counter before you decide.
